The airport's own Long Stay car park at terminal 4 is everything you could wish for. Knowing the car park is run by the airport itself leaves you safe in the knowledge that your car is with an official car park in the airport grounds. Even better, the site has award-winning security, recommended by the police. When you get back from holiday, after that long flight, it's just 7 minutes for the car park's staff to drive you back to your car and you're on your way home. Choose this package and feel safe in the knowledge that you've made the right choice.
Security measures
The car park is manned 24 hours a day and has CCTV, fences and frequent patrols by high profile security vehicles. The car park even holds the Park Mark security award accredited by the police.
Instructions
The car park has automatic number plate recognition, so make sure you give us your car registration number when you book.
At the entry barrier, the machine will read and recognise your registration number, give you a ticket and lift automatically. Keep the ticket with you as you'll need it when you get back. Then, drive in and park in a space. It's a good idea to make a note of the zone and row you've parked in on your ticket, along with the nearest bus stop to make it easier to find your car when you get back. Then, just wait at the bus stop for the transfer bus and you'll be at check-in in 4 minutes. If you have any problems, press the call button for help. Transfers between 22:30 and 05:00 run when needed only, so if you need to get from the airport to the car park between these times, call the car park and the transfer bus will come and get you.
You need to give us your car registration number either when you book, or sometime before you go. It needs to be the right one, because if they don't have the right registration number, it holds things up when you arrive and leave.
Transfers
Transfers to and from terminal 4 take between three and seven minutes. They run every seven to eight minutes between 5am and 11pm, and when needed outside these times. Transfers are included in the price.
