Holiday Extras Park & Ride by Purple Parking - all terminals
Airparks Gatwick has changed its name to Purple Parking.
Despite the change in name, you'll still get the same amazing service. The car park is right next to the runway, so it's easy to find and close to the terminal.
If you want more time at the airport, Purple Parking is perfect. Just pull up to the arrival bays at the entrance and a Purple Parking driver will take your keys and park your car for you while you wait in a covered shelter for one of Purple's brand-new buses. You'll find toilets, vending machines, a baby changing room and boards with live flight details and transfer departure times, but you won't have long to use them as the buses run every 20 minutes. Hop on board and you'll be at the North terminal in 10 minutes, or at the South terminal in 15.
While you're away, your car will be looked after. Staff patrol the car park regularly, day and night, CCTV is in use and the car park has insurance. The security is so good, the police have awarded Purple Parking their Park Mark certification. It's even one of the few car parks to be approved by the airport itself.
When you get back, your car will be waiting in one of the departures bays, so you can just pick up your keys and head home. With such fantastic service, it's no surprise that 98% of travellers who book this car park through us tell us that they'd book again.
Book now and be one of the first to try out the same great Airparks' service with a more-colourful name.
Purple Parking would like us to remind drivers of large vehicles that minibuses, high-sided vehicles, mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers or any vehicle more than 2.1 meters (seven feet) high won't fit through the entry/exit barriers. However, they now accept licensed taxis. Security measures Like all Purple Parking sites, Purple Parking Gatwick is fully secured, with CCTV, barriers, a high fence, lighting and regular patrols.
All Purple Parking sites hold the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. To be awarded the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police and show that they have good security measures and are clean and well-lit.
Upon arrival, drive through the barrier and park in the open arrival lane. Take note of your lane number and head to reception to check in - you'll need to have your booking confirmation details to hand. The receptionist will then inform you where to leave your keys and direct you to the shuttle bus.
You'll be given a ticket, keep this safe as you'll need to show it to the bus driver. It will also have instructions on the back for when you return.
Catch the shuttle bus to the airport, while your car is parked for you. It takes 10 minutes to reach both terminals. The bus runs 24 hours a day on the hour, 20 past the hour and 20 to the hour and is included in the price. Larger or commercial vehicle?
