Drive through the gate and follow the signs to the check in lane, you can stay in your car. One of the ShortRun team will come to your window to confirm your details. They'll tell you where to park and give you a receipt with information on what to do when you get back from holiday. Make sure you keep this safe.
Once you've parked, head to the bus stop and the bus will drop you off at the airport. The bus runs when needed 24 hours a day, takes about 4 minutes and is included in the price.
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles or large vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2.1m barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period until midnight, at their discretion. Any longer than this you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day which is subject to change.

Make sure you leave plenty of time if you have lots of luggage, as you'll need to wait for a bus with more space. The bus can't accommodate large sporting equipment, so we'd recommend dropping any off with your passengers at the terminal first, then driving to the car park.
Due to the ongoing redevelopment works at Luton Airport, buses to and from the airport may take longer than normal. We recommend you allow at least an extra hour for your transfer to the Airport particularly at peak times.
Transfers Shuttle buses run when needed, take around 4 minutes to the drop-off point and are included.
Directions From the North & South via M1: - Leave the M1 at junction 10.
- At the roundabout take the 2nd exit if you're coming from the South and the 1st exit if you're coming from the North onto the A1081 Airport Way.
- Continue on the A1081, signposted Hitchin, Luton (S) & Airport.
- Once you have passed through the traffic lights move into the right hand lane, following the signs for Hitchin A505.
- At the roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted Hitchin A505 on to Vauxhall Way.
- At the next roundabout (Eaton Green Roundabout), take the 4th exit. You will see the ShortRun entrance.
From the East via A1: - Leave the A1(M) at junction 8 follow the A602 towards Hitchin.
- In Hitchin follow signs for the A505 into Luton and the Airport.
- At Eaton Green Roundabout, take the second exit, signposted ShortRun.
If you're using the postcode in your satnav it may not take you directly to the car park.
